Light as a Feather

Hi guys!! I've noticed that feather hair extensions are becoming really popular with celebrities. Getting them done at the salon can become really expensive. So, I'm going to show you where you can get this great look for less and still have the look and feel as if you were to get them done at the salon.
you can get these really cute extensions for $25 at Sephora.com

During my experimentation with feather extensions, I wanted to find cooler eye-catching ones that are really unique. So I decided on these 2 different extensions. The first one is from GoJane and the detail includes red highlights (Which caught my eye the most), a really pretty feather on a chain, and yellow and blue streamers (which I removed). I found the second extensions at Hot Topic. It was originally one long feather extension, but I cut it and made it into 2. I really loved how big the feathers are on a leather string with blue beads. The beads made the feathers stand out even more. Both of these extensions were under $10 and they're clip-in.
I hope you guys like this look. Your feedback is always welcome. Keep Checking back!!

Hanging out with Mom

My mom and I are very close so, I love to give her fashion advice and help her style her clothes. Her fashion sense is much like mine so I love putting together outfits that will make her look great.

My mother bought both of these sweaters to wear on two separate occasions, but I thought in my head: "What if you layered them and added a belt?" So here's a picture of my mom and how the outfit turned out. We both loved it.

Both Sweaters: Forever 21, Jeggings: Kohls, Boots: Charlotte Russe

Saint-Valentin Rouge

Valentine's Day was yesterday and love was all around. How did you spend the day? What did your loved ones get you? but most of all WHAT DID YOU WEAR?
This is an outfit that I quickly put together yesterday. Seeing that I'm single, I wore a simple t-shirt that reads I love me. I had a blast being single hanging out with friends. The shirt is from Wet Seal for about $7. The wide leg trousers are True Religion. They were on sale for $85. The sequin headband: Charlotte Russe.
this super cute bracelet looks expensive and sweet, but I bought it from Wet Seal for only $7
These red slingback pumps are really comfortable and affordable: Candies at Kohls.

I totally love this necklace. I actually got it as a gift a few years ago, but I usually only wear it for special occasions. It was bought from Kohls.

Valentine's Day

Love is in the air as February 14, 2011 rolls around. What are your plans?, but the bigger question is, WHAT TO WEAR? Girls always want to look pretty and sweet on this special day. So, today I'm going to share a few outfit ideas.

Pink and Red are the staple colors for Valentine's Day, but other bright colors can be fun also. If the look is romantic and sweet then any color would be perfect.
These outfits are great for a party or date

Here's one of the outfits I put together.
on me: Leather motorcycle jacket: Abbey Dawn, Tank top: Forever 21, Ruffle skirt: Wet Seal

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY LOVERS! xoxo GlamFairy
