About Me

Hi Fashionistas!!! I wanted to create a post so that you all can know me better. First, I'm a college student at the University of North Texas in Denton. I am currently studying biology and biomedical engineering. In the future I hope to go on to medical school and become a cosmetic surgeon. My main focus is reconstructive surgery so that I can help people that have deformities, burns, and other injuries. If I don't make it as a cosmetic surgeon I will have my BME degree to fall back on. With this degree I can do a number of interesting things including designing prostheses and other medical equipment.

I know you're all probably wondering how I got into fashion. Well I've always had a passion for clothes and accessories. My friends are always asking me for fashion advice so I decided to make this blog along with my other blog, Iamfashion101.blogspot.com. I post the same things on both blogs, but I am Fashion 101 is mainly for people who have questions about what to wear and how to wear it. I hope to continue both blogs even after I graduate. I really enjoy being a stylist and providing fashion tips. Below I will provide my answers to a few fashion questions that I've been asked several times.

Questions and Answers:

1. How would you describe your style?

       I would say my style varies. Somedays I like to be really girly while other days I may opt for an edgy look. Most people say that my style is really conservative while still being fun and cute. 

2. Who are your fashion inspirations?

       I really like to look to the past for a lot of my outfits. I love Audrey Hepburn and Veronica Lake's style the most. I also get a lot of inspiration from magazines like Glamour and Elle. 

3. What advice would you give to someone who's looking for inspiration?

       I'd tell them to go for it!! If they like a certain style, there is always a way to make it work for you. 

4. Who do you think the most stylish celebrity of today is?

        I really love Miranda Kerr's style. She always looks flawless, her style closely resembles mine. 

5. What's your favorite piece of clothing (including shoes) or accessory?

        Wow!! Too many to name. I actually have a favorite piece for each season. For Winter, I love my black riding boots that I purchased from Urbanog.com I've had them for several years now, and they're still trendy and in good shape. For spring, I like to wear rompers with a cute cardi. In the summer, I love my cargo shorts and capris, and in the fall, I love wearing my brown bomber jacket.
