Birthday Haul

Hello Fashionistas. I hope everyone is having an amazing day so far. I'm extremely excited today because tomorrow is my 22nd birthday. Yay!!!!!! I'm going to be doing so many awesome things this weekend with my friends and family, and I can barely contain my excitement. I'm always happy that my birthday is the first of May, because I have a little break before finals week to relax and not worry about over-studying. So, let's get right down to business!!!

Pre-Birthday Haul (I will also be posting this haul under the Hauls tab)

At first my intentions were to go to the mall and just find an outfit to wear for my birthday, but then I started shopping online, and when I saw all of the amazing things, I decided to treat myself to a little more.

These are some of the amazing things that I purchased (and I still have more coming through mail)!!! I will be posting close-ups of everything below.

I'm a really big fan of crochet, and these flats are to die for, not to mention they were only $10!!! I've actually already worn these once last weekend, and my only complaint is that they're really painful on your feet. I was out for around 5 hours that day, and I wasn't doing any excessive walking (and they're not too small either). By the second hour I was out, I noticed that my pinky toes on both feet were hurting really badly. I mean so bad that it started being difficult to walk. When I finally arrived home, I had huge blisters from all of the rubbing. If any of you have purchased or are going to purchase these shoes, I would recommend putting something soft in between your pinky toes and the shoes.

I think this is my favorite piece that I purchased. This is a cute chiffon top, and the color is actually a pretty coral (my coral fascination!!). It has a really pretty crocheted collar and a keyhole back.

So, I really wanted to wear a cute and girly muscle tee, but I didn't have the muscles to wear it (lol). Now my arms are super toned and I can't wait to show them off in this flowy Chic top.

I love coral for spring!! It's really pretty and soft. I fell in love with these high waisted shorts mainly because of the gold buttons. The gold compliments coral really well. I can't wait to create an outfit with these.

I'm in looooove with this romper!!! The print is really fun, and it's so comfortable. This really has a spring-y feeling to it, and it will look great with a cute cardi.

I saw these jeans online at F21, and I was a little cautious to buy them. They were only $7.80. I thought they were going to be really thin and cheaply made. When I finally received them in the mail, I loved them. They're perfect for spring. They're light on your skin, and they're well made.

I've always wanted a bib necklace, and I was so happy when I found this unique fan bib. Gold is my favorite color for jewelry, and this necklace is perfect for a casual or a formal look. I've actually wanted to wear a head chain for a while. I wasn't sure how it would look with my curly hair, and after browsing Youtube for a while, I saw a lot of girls that wore a head chain with their curly hair, and it looked amazing. I loved it even more than with straight hair. I can't wait to wear it with something in coral. :)

OMG!!! I love Hello Kitty so much. I have so much Hello Kitty jewelry, and I noticed that I didn't have any rings. OMG WHY DIDN'T I HAVE ANY RINGS???!!!! I actually was just going to buy one, but I liked these two and just couldn't choose between them. I had to have them both.

One day last week, I received a ups package from Ulta, and it had my name on it. I hadn't purchased anything from Ulta and I had no idea who did. When I opened the package, I saw a little card. I opened it and it read, "Happy Birthday, Sis!!!" I was so excited that my big sister had sent me something great for my birthday. I was actually about to purchase this Chi Luxe Thirst Relief Conditioner because of all the great reviews. It really does work perfectly for curly hair, and my hair always feels moisturized.

I also love the Diane High Volume Detangler comb. My hair always gets even more tangled when I wash it in the shower, and when began to apply my conditioner so that I could start the detangling process, I noticed that this comb just easily glided through my hair. I came to the conclusion that the section of hair I was working on just wasn't tangled. So, I moved on to the next section, and the comb glided easily through once again. I was ecstatic that I've finally found a comb that really detangles my hair easily without pulling it out and having to spend too much time on it. My sister is awesome!!!!

I hope everyone enjoyed this haul. I will also be posting it under the Hauls tab so that no one will have to search for it. I will also be posting an easy spring nail tutorial later this week. It will be posted under the posts tab and the tutorials tab. Please, feel free to leave comments and questions. Thank you all for stopping by. Have a fabulous day.

Spring Fashion Trends to Try!!!

Ahhh, Spring! The most versatile season there is. Spring is the season for amazing weather and even better fashion. You can wear cute shorts and rompers, and the weather is still nice enough to wear gorgeous cardigans. Some of my favorite trends are bold prints, bohemian, brights, and cropped tops. Here are a few cute and affordable options to try:

BOLD PRINTS: When searching for bold prints, look for awesome prints that can be worn from day to night.

Tribal print is a really popular print this fall. You can have a casual day by pairing this dress with a pair of cute flats and a crossbody bag, or you can dress it up by adding a cute cardigan and a pair of wedges.

Dress: Gojane.com, $21.50

Every lady needs a really cute pair of trouser shorts in their closet. This bold mixed print will definitely make a fashion statement. You can keep it simple by pairing these shorts with a cute solid colored crop top and a pair of flats, or dress it up by adding a bib necklace, bangles, and wedges.
Shorts: Forever21.com. $22.80

BOHEMIAN: Bohemian inspired looks are really fun, flirty, and perfect for spring. You can turn pretty much any outfit into a Bohemian look by adding the correct accessories.

Pair a cute cropped top with high waist shorts and throw a cute cardigan or kimono over it to achieve that Bohemian look.  Also, add a brown fringe crossbody, some flats, and a cute head chain.
Cardigan: Gojane.com, $48.00
Cropped Top: Gojane.com, $16.50
High waist shorts: Gojane.com. $24.80

BRIGHTS: Bright colors are always in for spring. The gorgeous pastels and neons can brighten up anyone's day. You should have at least one bright in shorts, cropped pants, dresses, skirts, and tops.

bright camis are great for spring. You can do a variety of different activities in a cute cami. Camis look perfect layered or worn alone. Pair them with a cute pair of cropped shorts, flip flops, and a kimono for those cool beach nights.
Cami: Forever21.com, $3.80 (variety of colors)

For this cute kimono and gorgeous coral shorts, I can't talk about one without mentioning the other. Coral is the perfect and most popular spring color. This is the perfect look for a finals day at school. Pairing these cuffed cuties with a basic crop top, bangles, sandals, cute backpack,  and this bright floral kimono will scream that you're fun and girly while still being comfortable and laid back.
Shorts: Forever21.com, $14.80
Kimono: Forever21.com, $22.80

CROP TOPS: crop tops can be worn with anything. You can pair them with a cute skater skirt for a casual lunch date, or dress it up by pairing them with a bodycon skirt for a glamorous night out. They are really popular with high waist shorts, and this spring, a two piece set is storming the fashion scene.

Crop tops come in many different cute styles that can be worn for day or night looks. A basic crop top should is a staple to keep in your closet. Printed crop tops are perfect for spring and can be paired with anything high waisted. a cute flowy cropped top would be perfect with a maxi skirt and a nice headwrap.
Crochet and lace crop top: F21, $7.80
Tribal crop top: F21 and Forever21.com, $9.80
Basic crop top: Forever21.com, $3.80
I admit that I wasn't a big fan of the two piece sets until I laid eyes on this one. The cut of the top and the skirt are gorgeous and the print is to die for. This is a great look for a casual day of shopping by pairing it with a cute pair of wedges, or it can be great for a night dinner date by adding a pair of pumps and a blazer.
Top: Gojane.com, $14.50
Skirt: Gojane.com, $20.00
